Our goal is to maximize performance for the Open Workouts on Fridays. Since this year is a little different and there are only 3 workouts (versus the traditional 5), we have added a few extra benchmarks throughout the month. We have Randy, Lyla and the Bear Complex in store, along with a CrossFit.com workout and some WUWO original benchmarks.⁠

Regardless of what program your using — ours, yours, someone else's — ⁠

Know that because the Open Workouts are unknown, some weeks may feel rather shoulder-heavy. For people who don’t work out every day, it shouldn’t be a problem, but for those who do work out every day, you might want to see how they are feeling during those weeks and adjust accordingly.⁠
⁠
Also, people tend to go ALL OUT during Open Workouts, so make sure you are giving everyone extra recovery strategies or mobilizing time across the week and throughout the month. The three weeks tend to build on each other in intensity, which can make people feel a little burnt or down. Do what you can to keep them motivated and having fun!⁠
